A precise release date for the all-electric Mazda MX-30 in the United States has not been provided. Expected to be a member of the 2021 Mazda model lineup – the Mazda MX-30 is expected to arrive in the United States late in 2020 or early in 2021. When it arrives, the Mazda MX-30 is expected to be available in four trim levels – Sport, Touring, Grand Touring and Signature. The Mazda MX-30 is an all-electric subcompact crossover – similar in size to the 2019 Mazda CX-3 – that makes room for five passengers with Freestyle rear doors that open toward the rear of the vehicle.

To deliver Mazda-brand performance when it arrives, the Mazda MX-30 will employ a next-generation e-SKYACTIV® electric powertrain that is married to the front axle and employs a 35.5-kWh lithium-ion battery pack. With this innovative system in place that employs an integrated battery cooling system and Mazda G-Vectoring Control Plus, the Mazda MX-30 is expected to have an electric range of about 250 miles.
